StudySpace SA Privacy Policy
Effective date: 27 September 2026
StudySpace SA is an independent education-planning tool. It is not a government service and is not affiliated with universities, TVET colleges, NSFAS, DHET, or any admissions authority. Always confirm requirements and submit applications directly with the relevant institution.
Information we process
When you choose to create an account or use StudySpace tools, we may process the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, school results, course preferences, saved application-planning records, and uploaded documents such as identity, academic, or proof-of-address documents.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide account access, APS calculations, education and funding planning, document organisation, application tracking, support, and optional notifications. StudySpace does not automatically receive university or college decisions.
Payments and notifications
If a payment service is enabled in a future release, checkout is handled through an approved payment provider. StudySpace does not ask you to send card or bank details by email. WhatsApp notifications require your opt-in and an approved messaging provider; they are not sent when that service is unavailable.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not submit applications or share your documents with institutions unless a future feature clearly asks for your instruction and identifies the recipient.
Your choices
You can ask for access, correction, or deletion of your account information by contacting us. You can also choose not to provide optional information; some features may then be unavailable.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service. Keep your login details private and do not upload documents you do not need for your own planning. We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
Children and teenagers
StudySpace SA is intended for teenagers and adults planning education pathways. If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian before providing personal information or uploading documents.
